These ladies did the London Marathon having NEVER run before joining SLJ!

The new beginners' groups are designed to help ladies get fit and tone up those lost muscles, and maybe lose a bit of weight too. Absolutely no experience is necessary, just a sense of humour, a pair of trainers and willingness to buy a sensible bra!

 

At the end of the course most runners will be fit enough to join another group on a Monday, Wednesday or Saturday morning at 9.15 a.m. or the evening session on a Wednesday evening at 7.30 p.m. Each session will last an hour and a quarter on average, but this includes warm up, stretching, cool down or any other tactics the girls try to prevent us going too far!!

Sarah wrote ...I'd like to say a huge thanks to Shona; she has most wonderful humour that never fails. I'm still at the back of group but without her wonderful personality, friendliness & support I'm sure I would have given up. She makes it such fun. Huge thanks to Shona, it would not be the same without YOU!!

Saturday mornings at 11.00am

The course starts from Hollybush carpark and lasts around an hour. A lovely way to kick start the weekend in the tranquil surroundings of

Knole Park.

This is a great time to start your new fitness campaign, why not encourage a friend to join you and book soon. These courses fill up fast. At the end of the course each runner has the option to join the main Monday or Wednesday morning group, this means you keep up your new fitness and make SLJ part of your new lifestyle.
